Wednesday, November 15, 2017 | 1 - 2 PM EASTERN

Andrew H. Beck, MD, PhD
Founder and CEO

Presentation Overview
In this presentation, we will show how recent advances in artificial intelligence can be harnessed to solve the most challenging problems in pathology that impact drug development, clinical medicine, and global health.

Dr. Beck earned his MD from Brown Medical School and completed residency and fellowship training in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology from Stanford University. He completed a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University, where he developed one of the first machine-‚Äčlearning based systems for cancer pathology. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology.  From 2011 – 2016, he served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School in the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and he published over 110 papers in the fields of cancer biology, cancer pathology, biomedical informatics, and artificial intelligence for applications in pathology.  In 2016, Dr. Beck founded PathAI, a company that develops artificial intelligence technology for pathology, where he serves as President and CEO.
