Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation requests received via e-mail by August 31, 2023 will be honored. Fees cannot be refunded after August 31. Should you need to cancel your registration, please email your request to info@digitalpathologyassociation.org.

 

Cancellation by DPA; Virtual Event:  
If DPA cancels Pathology Visions 2023 or reschedules Pathology Visions 2023 as a virtual event, then registration payments may, at attendees option, be either applied to Pathology Visions 2023 virtual event or refunded in full. Attendee acknowledges that any fees or other liabilities or expenses incurred by attendee shall be solely the responsibility of attendee. Fees may not be transferred to PV 2024. 

 

Registration Confirmation:
You will receive a registration confirmation via email (please add info@digitalpathologyassociation.org to your safe senders list). Please be sure to check your spam - if you do not receive an email, please contact the DPA Executive Office as your registration may have been unsuccessful. Information on the PV23 room block will be included in your confirmation email.

 

Hotel Scam Alert:

You may be contacted by individuals or companies claiming to assist with the Pathology Visions room block. Please note that DPA does not use a third-party company or housing provider for hotel accommodations and will never contact you regarding special offers. All lodging for Pathology Visions should be arranged using the link provided in your registration confirmation email - which takes you to the official #PathVisions23 room block at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Should one of these scammers contact you or should you have any questions, please email info@digitalpathologyassociation.org.

 

Consent Clause:
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, DPA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in recordings, both live and on-demand, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by DPA without compensation or approval rights. All photos, images, and recordings are the property of the DPA. 

 

COVID-19 Policy:

The DPA is looking forward to an in-person educational event and the health and wellbeing of our participants as our top priority. While participating in-person at Pathology Visions, the DPA will follow suggested federal, state, and local preventive measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the DPA cannot guarantee that participants, attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, or others in attendance (“participants”) will not become infected with COVID-19. All participants will be asked to:

 

  • Wear masks when and where required
  • Practice social distancing when and where required
  • Follow good personal hygiene practices
  • Practice self-monitoring & self-reporting
  • Follow the requirements of the host hotel that are in place at the time of the meeting
  • Not travel to or attend PV23 if sick or become sick
  • Take reasonable precautions to ensure your own comfort

 

By registering, you acknowledge the inherent risks of attending Pathology Visions 2023 and that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. By attending PV23, you acknowledge that exposure or infection may result in quarantine requirements, serious illness, permanent disability and/or death. You agree to follow all health and safety precautions for the DPA meeting. You acknowledge that if you choose not to follow the health and safety precautions as outlined by the DPA, the meeting venue, and other partners for the DPA, your registration may be canceled, and you may be removed from the meeting with no refund of any related expenses.
