Fostering Strong Partnerships to Advance Digital Pathology & Augmented Intelligence
Digital Pathology and Augmented Intelligence has been incorporated into pathology practice and will continuously transform pathology and laboratory medicine. As the foundation of precision medicine, pathology provides critical information of diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy prediction to guide effective treatment. For the benefit of patient care and the advancement of precision medicine, pathologists are best poised to architecting the contemporary and future of pathology in collaboration with various stakeholders of digital health. As the leading organization in advancing digital pathology through education advocacy and standardization, the DPA recognizes the importance value of partnership with various allied societies. This allied society panel session will highlight the collaborative initiative of DPA-ESDIP-JSDP for worldwide adoption of digital pathology and share insights of radiology colleagues from SIIM on radiology informatics. This session is intended to stimulate collaboration to foster a strong partnership in our journey to advancing digital pathology and augmented intelligence.
