Diagnostic Medicine and Data Evolution: Preparing for Changes in Pathology and Radiology Practices

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) is pleased to host a joint session at CAP19 bringing the CAP together with the American College of Radiology (ACR), Association of Pathology Informatics (API), and the Digital Pathology Association (DPA). This provocative session will explore how the practices of Pathology and Radiology are evolving in light of innovations in artificial intelligence and structured and integrated reporting. The topics of the meeting include:

  • Summary of activities related to AI and structured reporting from the perspectives of the participating organizations;
  • Exploration of the future practice of diagnostic medicine encompassing Pathology and Radiology in both community practices and academics;
  • Proposal for future collaborations based on participant input and feedback.

We invite you to share input and concerns for your practice in the areas of artificial intelligence and structured reporting efforts. Please join us on Tuesday, September 24 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, Orlando - the CAP19 venue. This is a FREE session open to everyone.
