Dr. Matthew J. Cecchini is an assistant professor at London Health Sciences in London, Ontario, Canada. He is leading the digital pathology transformation at LHSC and focuses on developing clinically actionable tools in pathology.

Dr. Evans is Chief of Pathology at Mackenzie Health (MH), a community hospital that has been fully digital for surgical pathology since 2021.  Prior to joining MH, he was Director of Digital Pathology at University Health Network (UHN) from 2004-2020, implementing digital pathology for frozen sections, consultations, and primary diagnosis to support UHN partner sites.  He has authored guidelines for digital pathology with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and is a member of the CAP AI Committee and Council on Informatics and Pathology Innovation.  He was recently appointed as Clinical Lead for Pathology in the Ontario Laboratory Medicine Program.

Dr. Hwang is a thoracic pathologist and Chief of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Diagnostics at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, which has been in the process of digital pathology implementation over the past half-year. He is a Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology at the University of Toronto.

Program Medical Director of Laboratory Medicine

University Health Network 

 

Dr. Yousef is Program Medical Director of Laboratory Medicine at University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, a Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Toronto, and the head of Informatics and Digital Resources at the Canadian Association of Pathologists. He is the editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Pathology, and a member of the Royal College Examination Board in Anatomical Pathology in Canada.  He published over 280 research and review articles and 15 book chapters in pathology.
