Maureen Wairimu Waithaka is an anatomic pathologist from Kenya. She currently works with The Pathology Network pioneering diagnostic digital pathology and building its capacity, particularly in underserved parts of Kenya. She endeavors to leverage digitization and artificial intelligence innovations to enhance the accessibility, accuracy, and efficiency of pathology diagnosis in Kenya and throughout Africa, improving patient outcomes and promoting good quality healthcare. She is also deeply committed to medical education, through which we can inspire and empower the next generation of pathologists and healthcare professionals.
