Akos Szolgyen, PhD

Akos Szolgyen is a computational physicist and postdoctoral scholar in the Computational and Integrative Pathology Lab at Northwestern University. His research focuses on developing scalable computational methods for pathology and cancer research, including high-performance computing, machine learning, large language models, and computer vision. He develops software to characterize the tumor microenvironment and extract structured information from clinical pathology reports.
