Vaishali Pannu, PhD

Vice President of Digital Pathology, Caris Life Science

Vaishali Pannu, Vice President of Caris Life Sciences, is a molecular scientist with expertise in cancer biomarker discovery and validation. She holds a PhD in cell and molecular biology from Georgia state University in Atlanta, GA. She has been working at the intersection of clinic and research for 8 years, driving clinical implementation of image-based solutions with a focus on efficiency and data quality. Her deep-rooted interest in clinical applications of spatial biomarkers fuels her current efforts towards digital transformation of pathology and laboratory medicine. She believes in empowering clinical labs with the right tools to prepare for transformative biomarker assays and technologies on the horizon. As Vice President of Digital Pathology at Caris Life Science, Vaishali oversees multi-faceted digital pathology operations at a case volume of 500 cases/day, generating >1 million WSIs per year.
