Pathology Visions FAQ

To register, please click here. Upon successful submission, you will receive a detailed confirmation email.

 

Advance registration for #PathVisions24 will close on Thursday, October 31. Onsite registration will open on Sunday, November 3. To provide you with the best possible experience, advance registration is strongly encouraged. 

 

Full conference registration includes admission to:

 

  • Preconference, breakfast, and dinner workshops
  • General and track sessions
  • Poster presentations
  • Exhibit Hall
  • Lunches, breaks, and receptions

Cancellation requests received via e-mail by September 27, 2024 will be honored. Fees cannot be refunded after September 27. Should you need to cancel your registration, please email info@digitalpathologyassociation.org

Registration cancellation does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Hotel cancellation is the responsibility of the individual. 

Cancellation by DPA; Virtual Event: If DPA cancels Pathology Visions 2024 or reschedules Pathology Visions 2024 as a virtual event, then registration payments may, at attendees option, be either applied to Pathology Visions 2024 virtual event or refunded in full. Attendee acknowledges that any fees or other liabilities or expenses incurred by attendee shall be solely the responsibility of attendee. Fees may not be transferred to PV25. 

Yes! PV24 registrants will have access to recorded presentations following the meeting (an email notification will be sent once available). Presentations are not available for download. After 90 days, presentations will be available exclusively to DPA members. Pathology Visions 2024 will take place in-person only from November 3-5 in Orlando, Florida. 

 

All #PathVisions24 attendees, speakers, and exbibitors are required to check-in at the registration desk and pick up their name badge. Registration opens on Sunday, November 3 in Regency Ballroom Foyer (Convention Level of the Hyatt Regency Orlando). 

 

Registration + Badge Pickup Hours:

  • Sunday, November 3, 10am-7pm (8am for exhibitor setup staff)
  • Monday, November 4, 7am-7pm
  • Tuesday, November 5, 7am-3:30pm 

Attendees are required to wear their name badges at all times during the conference including industry workshops, educational sessions, and in the exhibit hall. There is a $50 reprint fee if you lose or forget your badge. Make sure to keep it with you! 

 

Sharing of name badges is strictly prohibited. 

Food will be provided to attendees throughout the meeting (schedule subject to change):

  • 5-7pm: Reception (a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, hors d'oeuvres)

Monday, November 4

  • 7:30-8:30am: Breakfast (sponsored by Epredia)
  • 8:30-9am: Refreshments (in the exhibit hall)
  • 11:45am-12:45pm: Lunch (in the exhibit hall)
  • 2:45-3:30pm: Refreshments (in the exhibit hall)
  • 5:30-7pm: Reception (a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, hors d'oeuvres)
  • 7-8pm: Evening Social (sponsored by Iron Mountain)

Tuesday, November 5

  • 7:30-8:30am: Breakfast (sponsored by Roche)
  • 8:30-9am: Refreshments (in the exhibit hall)
  • 11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch (in the exhibit hall)
  • 2:30-3:15pm: Refreshments (in the exhibit hall)

A variety of beverages including coffee will be served throughout each day.

The exhibit hall will remain open from 8:30am-7pm on Monday and 8:30am-3:15pm on Tuesday. Dedicated exhibit hall hours (subject to change):

Cashless Environment
The Hyatt Regency Orlando is now a cash-free environment (except for the Market). Credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payments will be available. Please be sure to plan accordingly.

 

Parking + Transportation

Getting to #PathVisions24 is a breeze. Located at stop 21 for the I-Ride Trolley on International Drive, the Hyatt Regency Orlando is within two miles of FL-482, FL-528, and I-4, and only 15 minutes away from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

 

Driving? Self-park in the on-site garage or opt for valet parking during your stay. Public parking is available at varying rates. 

 

Other Transportation

  • Orlando Health/Amtrak Station: 10 miles
  • Orlando International Airport: 12 miles

Attire is business casual. We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary. 

We encourage you to note in your out-of-office message that you are attending Pathology Visions 2024! Ex: “I am currently away attending the DPA Annual Meeting, Pathology Visions, through November 5, 2024.”

Information on available CME and CE credits will be provided in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please check your DPA profile for accuracy. Per AMA guidelines, only physicians are eligible to receive CME credits. Please be sure to list your credentials in your DPA profile (MD, DO, etc.). If you are not a physician, you will be given one of the following when you claim your credits:

  1. If you apply for CE credits, non-physician will credit a CE certificate.
  2. If you do not apply for CE credits then non-physicians will receive a letter of participation.

As you may have noticed, #PathVisons24 coincides with Election Day in the United States. Attendees are encouraged to explore early voting options available in their respective states. You can still make your voice heard while advancing your professional commitments!
