Cancellation/Transfer Policy

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@digitalpathologyassociation.org.
  • Full refunds (less a $50 admin fee) will be issued for cancellations received by August 31, 2025.
  • No refunds will be granted after August 31, 2025.
  • Hotel reservations are separate and must be canceled directly with the hotel.
  • Registrations may be transferred to individuals with the same membership status. 

 

Event Cancellation/Virtual Transition

  • If DPA cancels Pathology Visions 2025 or transitions to a virtual event, attendees may choose to apply their registration to the virtual event or receive a full refund.
  • Attendee acknowledges that any other fees, liabilities, or expenses incurred shall be solely the attendee's responsibility.
  • Registration fees cannot be transferred to Pathology Visions 2026.

Yes! PathVisions25 registrants will have access to recorded presentations following the meeting (an email notification will be sent once available). Presentations are not available for download. After 90 days, presentations will be available exclusively to DPA members. For information on membership, please click here.

Pathology Visions 2025 will be held in-person only (October 5-7, San Diego, CA). 

 

All PathVisions25 attendees, speakers, and exhibitors are required to check-in at the registration desk and pick up their name badge. Registration opens on Sunday, October 5 in Palm Foyer (2nd Floor of the Manchester Grand Hyatt). 

 

Registration + Badge Pickup Hours (subject to change):

  • Sunday, October 5, 10am-7pm (8am for exhibitor setup staff)
  • Monday, October 6, 7am-7pm
  • Tuesday, October 7, 7am-3:30pm 

Attendees are required to wear their name badges at all times during the conference including industry workshops, educational sessions, and in the exhibit hall. There is a $50 reprint fee if you lose or forget your badge. Make sure to keep it with you! 

 

Sharing of name badges is strictly prohibited. 

The exhibit hall will remain open from 8:30am-7pm on Monday and 8:30am-3:45pm on Tuesday. Following are dedicated exhibit hall hours (subject to change):

Room Block

  • Registration confirmation emails will include a link to the official PV25 room block at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Still need to register? Click here!
  • DPA does not utilize third-party housing providers. Be aware of fraudulent solicitations offering discounted hotel rates.

Room Rate:

  • Starting at $325 (plus taxes and fees)
  • Deposit Policy: Credit card guarantee required
  • Cancellation Policy: 11:59 PM local hotel time 3 days before arrival (or 1 night fee)

Cashless Environment: The conference hotel is cashless. Credit/debit cards or contactless payments will be available.

Mandatory Speaker Check-in: Please bring your final presentation(s) directly to the Speaker Ready Room in Show Office 7, located near conference registration (Palm Foyer).

 

  • Speakers must check in with the speaker ready room tech no later than one hour before their scheduled session.
  • For multiple presentations, please consolidate them into a single deck or provide a clear presentation order to the AV staff.
  • If you are using your own laptop, have it ready and inform the AV staff.
  • Verify that all fonts, sound, and video clips within your presentation are working correctly.
  • Your presentation(s) will be loaded onto the appropriate session room computer from the Speaker Ready Room.
  • If you are not using a PowerPoint presentation, please inform the Speaker Ready Room staff.
  • Important Note: If you do not check into the Speaker Ready Room at least one hour before your session, you must bring your presentation directly to the AV personnel located in your session room.

 

AV Technician Assistance Hours (Subject to Change):

 

  • Sunday, October 5: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Monday, October 6: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Closed 12:30 – 1:30 PM)
  • Tuesday, October 7: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Closed 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Attendees will be able to store their luggage in Show Office 4 on Monday from 7 AM - 7 PM and Tuesday from 7 AM - 4:30 PM.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This space will not be monitored or secured. Lost or stolen items are not the responsibility of the DPA or Manchester Grand Hyatt.

PathVisions is business casual. Layers are recommended as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.

Check Your DPA Profile for Accuracy
Per AMA guidelines, only physicians are eligible to receive CME credits. Check that your professional credentials are listed in your DPA profile (MD, DO, etc.). If you are not a physician, you will be given one of the following when you claim your credits:

  1. If you apply for CE credits, non-physicians will receive a CE certificate.
  2. If you do not apply for CE credits, then non-physicians will receive a letter of participation.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Digital Pathology Association. The College of American Pathologists is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

CME Designation: The CAP designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

CE (Continuing Education for non-physicians): The CAP designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6 credits of continuing education. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

This activity is approved for continuing education credit in the states of California and Florida.
