Join us for an insightful panel discussion delving into how BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine are partnering with Iron Mountain to transform their vast physical pathology slide archive to whole slide images. The panel will explore the "why" behind the decision to scan this collection: enhancing patient care, accelerating groundbreaking research, and unlocking new avenues for commercialization through enhanced data accessibility. Discover "what" critical strategic decisions were necessary to outsource this immense endeavor via scanning as a service rather than building out internal scanning infrastructure, and "how" this ambitious journey began, from the significant challenges overcome to the remarkable efficiencies gained throughout the process. A key focus will be the invaluable partnership with Iron Mountain, highlighting the deep collaboration that made this project a reality, Iron Mountain's ability to integrate with other technology platforms, and the deployment of Iron Cloud's cost effective and intelligent tiered WSI storage. Finally, we'll look ahead to "what's next," discussing the leveraging of these whole slide images at BJC and Washington University's new joint Center for Health AI, and the expansion of diagnostic digital pathology across BJC HealthCare. Don't miss this deep dive into a paradigm shift in pathology!
