Doug Olson is Chief Information Officer at Versant, directing enterprise-wide digital pathology strategy and diagnostic technology modernization. He oversees the full digital pathology ecosystem — scanner optimization, IMS architecture, LIS integrations, and laboratory connectivity — ensuring scalable, high-reliability clinical performance. With 30+ years in healthcare IT and laboratory operations, Doug has led LIS overhauls, EMR interoperability frameworks, and multi-site transformations.
