Scott Blakely is a Business Development Manager for Digital Pathology and Whole Slide Imaging at Hamamatsu Corporation, a global leader in imaging and photonics technology. With a foundation in analytical optical microscopy and image analysis systems in the life sciences, Scott has been a driving force in advancing digital pathology solutions since 2011.
He currently serves as President of the Digital Pathology Association, with special focus in the Regulatory and Standards Task Force and is both a founding and active member of the Alliance for Digital Pathology, contributing to industry-wide collaboration and innovation. Throughout his career, Scott has been passionate about identifying and applying emerging technologies to meet critical needs in life sciences and healthcare.

As diagnosis increasingly draws on an increasingly complex data environment, the pathologist's role is primed to evolve. This panel explores what it means to integrate digital pathology and AI-diagnostic support with radiology, lab and chemistry data, genomics, and EHR/clinical notes — and what it takes to do that responsibly.
