Interim Chief Officer; SIIM Board Chair, Emory University

Dr. Nabile Safdar is the Interim Chief AI Officer at Emory Healthcare and Emory University. A radiologist and a researcher, he oversees Emory's enterprise AI strategy and implementation across clinical, research, and operational domains. His scholarship spans AI applications in medical imaging, as well as ethics and responsible use of AI in healthcare. Dr. Safdar also serves on several national committees and speaks widely on imaging informatics and the future of AI in medicine.
